This quilt is the result of thinking about risks. What does it mean to take a risk? What is risky? Does everyone view risks the same way?
The phrase ‘out on a limb’ is associated with taking a great risk, often reckless. But who decides? What would be an extreme risk for some, like climbing a tree, comes as easily as breathing for others.
The trick, I think, is to find that place where you can take risks out of a sense of curiosity and wonder, instead of fear. Because that place where you step out of your comfort zone, even just a little, is where the most amazing encounters happen - with yourself, your world and your spirit.
