Moments in life take me in many directions. As I travel the path of life, it branches off and takes me into another limb of uncertainty. The more I extend myself, the further out onto that limb I venture. Knowing that branch could break at any time, I take the chance to learn and grow. As I journey through the branches of life, I collect my experiences that build the core, or trunk, of my life which makes me stronger and who I am. This quilt was constructed with 100% cotton fabric, cotton/soy batting, cotton and rayon threads, novelty and handspun yarns of rayon, cotton, wool and bamboo. Techniques used were machine and hand appliqué, couching yarns, machine embroidery and machine quilting. Quilt was started March 2010,
