When Wendy invited me to make a quilt for her exhibit I was very excited.--- until she told me the size requirement. I thought to myself, “I can’t make a quilt that large”. While I was skeptical every one else cheered me on. The theme is OUT ON A LIMB. Going out on a limb to me was making the largest quilt I have ever made. I love Wendy’s technique and have always wanted to make a quilt with a photo I have taken of my daughter. So I did. She has her beloved cat Mr. Snuggles with her all the time so I thought it was only appropriate to include him in the quilt. I really enjoyed making this quilt. It has pushed me far beyond what I thought were my limits. I would like to dedicate this quilt to my daughter, Jessica and to my home group from Brookfield Lutheran Church and my dear friend Chris K. Without their support and prayers I don’t know if I would have come this far during the past 6 months.
