“BE GENTLE, THE FUTURE IS FRAGILE”
59 1/2 “ x 53 1/2 “
All living things exhibit wonderous life cycles.
I hope each of us seek opportunities with our
children to study, explore,
and appreciate these wonders. Only when
one experiences first-hand
the sprouting of seeds, the hatching of chicks or
the transformations in a butterfly’s lifecycle, can
one really begin to
grasp the mysteries of our surroundings. These experiences cultivate
advocates
who have a mission to preserve the future of all living things.
With the help
of their grandpa, Emily 2, and Christopher 4, reared this monarch from an
egg
found on the milkweed. They experienced an egg hatch, a caterpillar
grow, a chrysalis form, and
a butterfly emerge. Then with a gentle kiss,
they let it go so it could migrate back to Mexico and
continue its species’ existence.
Advocate for compassion and “Be Gentle, The Future is Fragile.”
