On a summer bicycling excursion, I decided to scope out a few barns to photograph along with some cows.  As I create my designs, I am inspired to experiment with different fabrics, thus developing various series.  I love seeing how a design is affected by changing fabrics and value placement.  Working in a series is a great way to challenge our skills and creative voices.  All the fabrics are commercial and I used more hand dyed looking ones rather than larger prints… thus allowing the quilting to pop more.
