Connections …. All living things small and large throughout the world are interconnected and rely on each other.  We humans live off the earth and it is our responsibility to take care of every form of life……but are we being responsible?? We breathe because of the trees, we rely on oceans, the lakes, the lands and even the insects for our food.  We must take care and be good stewards, but are we?

Techniques: The background of this collage quilt was created with many triangles fused and stitched together. The trees depicting each of the seasons are also collaged using water soluble stabilizer, tulle and many snippets of threads. Double needle embellishing appears in the border and finally machine quilted on a home sewing machine.
