Mr. Blue Heron visits our dock often during the summer.  I was lucky to capture him on film one sunny afternoon. 

Techniques: Wendy’s Picture Image Machine Appliqué, thread embellished, then free motion machine quilted with rayon threads on a home sewing machine.
