These are UFOs ( Unfinished Objects-projects that have been hanging around for awhile!!) They were started in February 2009–part of my study of exploring the human figure.
I started with a photo of each of my children- Greg with his Burmese Mountain Dog, Bernise giving him a kiss, Christopher cuddling with his kitty named Kitty, Emily cuddling a young yellow colored Golden neighborhood dog. As I revisited Emily’s UFO, she had adopted a red colored Golden named Vegas, so I played with the fabric to try to make it look more like her Vegas.
 It was a branching out process for me as I realized how I could finish the pieces and display them as a vertical triptych for now.  With this hanging system,  I can divide them into individual pieces later.
